My Story...

Well, let’s begin at the beginning. My name is Mark Eather and I am the CEO, Managing Director & Owner of Shama Holdings Pty Ltd and Health E Options. I live and work in Australia, but I am a dual citizen of the USA and Australia. My corporation, Shama Holdings Pty Ltd is a registered company in Australia and we have a number of business interests focusing on health education, e-commerce and consulting that reaches clients, customers and end users around the world. I started to do Business and Health Consulting work in 2003, and Health-E-Options is a small family business run by my wife and I from my home office.

When I was a child growing up in Australia, I was quite sick with bronchitis and sinus problems. Our family consulted doctors who prescribed antibiotics and pharmaceutical drugs but I found that instead of getting better, my immune system was growing weaker. So from a young age, I began to be interested in natural medicine, healing plants and dietary supplements. My Grandmother was an influence in this as she taught me about Aloe Vera, dietary fibre and healthy eating.

In my 20s, I was a distributor of health tonics and vitamins that increased my knowledge of the immune system and how the body can heal itself, with the right help. The big shock came when my father died of cancer at age 52 after a short battle with colon cancer. We used juicing diets and tried some detoxing methods, but it was not enough to save him as the cancer was so aggressive.

In 2000, I moved to the USA and worked briefly with a Pharmaceutical Marketing Company in Raleigh, North Carolina. Here I learned about how to market medical information to practitioners and consumers, which continued to spark my interest in health related marketing.

I was first introduced to Protocel® in 2003 in Florida and began working with PMG Partners Marketing Group, Inc doing some business consulting, web design and admin tasks for the Protocel® project. In 2005, I returned to Australia and worked with a Retail Health Products company, BioNatural in Melbourne, Australia. For 2.5 years I worked as a Sales Rep, Health Coach, Product Trainer and all-round Guru on Protocel® and complimentary products. This included giving seminars and teaching customers, naturopaths and doctors about how to use our products.

Since July 2007, I have been the Australian Distributor for Protocel® (its called Entelev™ in Australia) and we have continued to expand our efforts into the UK, Canada, Brazil, New Zealand through our website technologies.

The primary focus of HEALTH-E-OPTIONS is to educate consumers and health professionals about Protocel® and to distribute it worldwide.
